Murila Fifer

Murila Fifer grew up and was educated in Leeds. She obtained her LLB Hons degree at Wolverhampton University.  After taking time away from the legal profession raising her family, she undertook her LPC at the University of Birmingham, after which she commenced her Training Contract with the firm Clive Shepherd based in Walsall, where she specialised in Housing and Family law.

She qualified in 2004, and continued in employment with Clive Shepherd, managing their housing department; before moving to work in Wolverhampton heading the small family department at Riley Hayes.

In 2007 she moved to Fish & Co, specialising in all aspects of family law. Both private and legal aid work comprising of: -

  • Injunctions under the Family Law Act 1996
  • Divorce
  • Ancillary Relief (division of assets after divorce)
  • Cohabitation Issues including (“TOLATA”) Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
  • Children Issues including

  • Public Law cases including Care and Supervision cases
